บท 140: The Problem

"No Anne, you are not going anywhere without explaining it to me today."

Felix blocked Anne's way when she tried to leave saying she would come back when he had calmed down. Felix knew this trick of hers. He was always too easy going and always avoided the ugly topics in order to maintain the peace. But...not now. He was done with this.

He wanted an explanation and no matter how ugly the talk was going to be, he would not budge now.

"Father...I didn't expect it would upset you so much. But...this is not the time…We have another problem. So we can tal-"

"No. This is the biggest problem now. So, don't try to change the topic. Explain, now."

Anne was taken aback by Felix's sudden cold threats. She didn't expect him to be this upset. He had not been angry like this before.

Maybe she really did surprise him with her words.

'I would have thought he would get upset. It was like I was invading his privacy, wasn't it?'
