บท 95: Sir Asher

It's sad they only got the hints this late.

But, since they got a happy ending they wished for, they were happy.

The maids supported these two's love affiar wholeheartedly.  Mary, who now finally is  hearing these girls giggling and talking about the duke and Asher, couldn't help but laugh seeing them so excited. Before, they were very careful but now they don't even care if Mary would be around and could hear them gossiping. 

So, with what she was hearing, she realised maybe she misunderstood the situation at that time. The duke may really like Asher and he was not just a slave bought by him.

'Sigh...I just wish the best for that child whatever happens.'

Mary actually liked how these young maids didn't seem to have any hatred toward the duke or Miss Anne. It's reassuring to know they would at least do their job well toward him and be loyal, admire him and support him.

Mary felt like lately things have gotten better in every way.
