His amazing performance left everyone impressed, and he only got a sense of that when he stepped out of the booth and was startled by the euphoria of the entire arena, which was very loud.

Klaus was greeted with pats on the back and warm compliments from the other competitors, because everyone recognized the magnitude of the feat he had accomplished.
