Upon hearing the news, Butler Wei rushed over, only to see Liam Yancey already carrying a tray of food into the elevator, an indescribable gentleness on his handsome face.

Liam Yancey returned to the master bedroom. Tara Summer happened to be in the bathroom, so he sat on the sofa, gazing at the heart-shaped steak in the plate. Even the stoic, typically unimpressed man like him seemed to be lost in thought.

Not until Tara Summer approached him did he regain his composure, prepared to take a bite, but she stopped him...

"Hmm." Tara Summer nodded, took the plate from him and sat next to him, changing the subject, "How is Nancy?"

"Don't worry." He draped his arm over her shoulder and pulled her into his embrace. Her soft, fragrant little body stirred his heart and made him hold her even tighter.

"How is she doing?" Tara Summer still wasn't reassured and asked further.
