Battle for the law of dark flames and meeting Agneya Again[3]{Part 2}
[Adrea POV],
As I moved forward slowly, I revised my plan once more.
Though I referred to it as a plan, it was more of a suicide mission.
Due to the uninvited visitors, there was an odd brief silence on the 'battlefield'.
So, while it was simple to move forward, I had to move slowly and cautiously because any kind of disturbance would draw everyone's attention to me.
I continued to watch my surroundings, especially the intruders, as I moved forward, but all they did was make eye contact with the other humanoid monsters; there was no indication that a fight had yet to break out.
Perhaps because they were tired of the eye contact game, an arch-level monster from the uninvited guest side approached the other humanoid monsters that I talked to before and said;
"Greetings", he said as he continued.
"Sorry for destroying your.....entertainment, but we had to drop by when we saw the Law strands. Though they're low quality, it's better to have a share in this, right?" he said and did not continue as he waited for the other side to talk.
I went through my thoughts as I waited for the monster to respond on our end.
First and foremost, I was able to learn new information.
It appears that even laws have different levels and qualities.
'I'm curious what level the law of dark flames is,' I thought as I listened to the conversation that was about to take place.
This time, it was the unicorn demigod's humanoid form who spoke;
"What do you mean by 'Share,'" he asked, his voice slightly agitated.
And the snake-eyed scaled humanoid backed him up by saying to them,
"Don't assume that just because you seem to be more numerous, you can come in and act as though this is your territory. I will kill you, believe me ". she said as she began her speech in an annoyed tone, with the latter part of her speech full of anger as she subconsciously released a little of her mana, beginning a load of weight on the monsters and I on the ground, giving us a little difficulty in breathing.
It got much worse when the other side refused to be bested, and a demigod from their side also released some of his mana, adding to the burden to us that was on the ground.
At this point, I couldn't breathe and my body was becoming sluggish, which was made worse by the fact that the air around me was heavy.
I felt like I could die at any moment.
My eyes were already closed, believing I would soon die, when I heard a loud sound of something being torn apart, and strangely, the mana surrounding the surroundings vanished without a trace right after.
I opened my eyes quickly, not giving it much thought, to find out where the loud noise was coming from.
Far away from me was a golden strand that appeared to be stretched to the point where it was slightly longer than before, but that's not the point.
The point is that the golden strand began disintegrating into thin air after making the sound it made.
Seeing this, I knew the golden strand had been destroyed, as did everyone else, and we all looked at the intruders who had 'caused' this to happen.
'Thank goodness it wasn't a golden rule I was aiming for, but if this continues, the other strands won't last long.' I thought.
When the monsters on both sides saw this, they exchanged silent glances.
I suppose they'll have to reach a decision, but that won't stop my plan; I reasoned as I moved closer to the end of this free for all game.
