บท 54: 54. Derek is here...

A nurse came running towards Derek. 

"Sir, Dr. Hanson called for you. You need to see this."

Derek sprang to his feet and in a flash, he was already inside the building. The nurse had to literally run to catch up.

Charlotte wanted to run after them. Was it about her daughter? What happened to her? She began to panic. Oh, she was not going home anymore. She would stay till Derek comes back to find out what happened.

Derek rushed through the handwashing and gowning process. He would have skipped it all if he didn't know how important it was to maintain the sterility of the ICU. Seeing the doctor that called for him, he slowed down his pace.

"She's awake!" Dr. Hanson blurted even before Derek could ask.

He dashed towards the glass wall and stilled when he saw her.
