"So, what's the girl like?" Simon's voice moved Xavier from his reverie.

"Hm?" Xavier furrowed his brows. "What girl?"

"Julia Altamari," said Simon with a laugh. "Remember you asked me to send you her details. Did you meet her and fell for her? She does look like your type."

"What type?" Xavier scoffed. He knitted his brows trying to remember Julia Altamari. Other than her annoying and spoiled brat attitude, Xavier didn't pay attention to her. It was understandable if Simon misunderstood and thought Xavier was interested in Julia since Xavier almost never asked him to check any women.

The last woman being checked for background ended up marrying Elleard. So, would Xavier follow suit?

"Your type," Simon replied. "Beautiful with a brain."

Brain? Xavier didn't even think Julia used her brain when she met him the last time. Even if she had one, it didn't matter. To him. she was just an annoying brat.
