The maid flinched at the sound of the shutting door only to find her young master was gone.

Tristan sprinted through the hallway and reached their room. He couldn't believe Ashley refused to eat the food he said, but he also couldn't blame her. It was his fault in the first place and her refusing anything from him was agreeable.

He knew he made a mistake but that didn't mean she would sleep empty stomach.

Standing in front of the door, Tristan tried to calm himself. He didn't want to show his displeasure but he also couldn't conceal his anger as she sent away the food leaving him disheartened.

He made a simple soup for her knowing how much she liked having it at times. Being an actress, she had to maintain her diet and figure, but she never refused the food he cooked.

Tristan not only felt offended but also disheartened because he never thought Ashley wouldn't realize it was him who cooked the soup for her.
