บท 87: The Failed Rebellion 3

The Seventh Prince's residence. 

Xiang Yize squeezed his eyes for some seconds before blinking a few times to shake the sleep creeping forward away.

The gentle sway of the carriage did not help at all, Xiang Yize cracked his neck gently and kicked his leg.

He blinked as the carriage came to a stop and raised the curtain, the carriage had stopped a short distance away from the gates of his residence.

'How odd,' he thought looking ahead. He frowned when he saw the Grand Princess's carriage in front of his gate and Chuanli talking to his cousin's guard, Biming.

Grand Princess Mingyue hardly ever left her residence, not even invitations to social gatherings would make her leave. So her sudden visit was worrying.

"Chuanli," he called.

His attendant who had run ahead to speak with Biming ran to the open window as he heard his name. 

"Your highness," he said stepping forward.
