Nie Shaoqing turned to the duke and asked, "are you alright, father".

"Yes... Son," the duke replied as he stared at his son. The incident was completely changing his perception of his youngest son.

He had always seen Nie Shaoqing as a sickly studious boy who although smart could not be of much help on the battlefield. 

He glanced from the short sword on the ground to the unconscious dancer held up by the guards and sighed.

He placed a hand on Nie Shaoqing's shoulder and rubbed gently, "You were very quick to respond, thanks".

Nie Shaoqing looked up at the duke and nodded, "it is only right that I do that," he turned to the girl and said, "the girl_"

"Will be taken care of. I cannot allow such a girl to go scot-free", he glanced at Mo Liang at his team of guards that had arrived with him, "get the girl, I will question her myself".
