บท 7: Chapter 7: Major changes
Its been almost 2 month since we started training along with Baise. I didn't even slack off and continued my nen training and continued to forage a plan to develop new nen abilities. As for Baise giving her luck everyday and training her with me saw her nen aura develop highly and her talent started to shine much better. Guiding her and training her was worth the time of 2 month spent in the desert as she developed 3 new nen abilities.
Instant Lover: Baise has the ability to manipulate for 180 minutes whomever she kisses. The target becomes overwhelmingly infatuated with her and will follow her every command.
Instant Substitute: They will have the ability to use substitutes, like mirrors and staffs to take damage for them.
Instant Thread Generation : She can make thin, almost invisible threads from nen like a spider and use them. These threads can be used to control and restrict the enemy's movements.The threads could be used to produce an invisible attack and can bound an enemy .The threads can be stuck or tied to walls, tangling enemies who walk through them, slowing them down. A trail of broken threads could give the user information such as the enemies size and where they walked. The thread's strength seems to vary, showing enough durability to slow enemies during battle while a person could walk through a room full of threads, tearing them down, without noticing. The shorter the thread is the stronger the thread is and longer the thread is weaker the thread is. A 1m thread can weigh almost a 500kgs and 5m thread can weigh almost 100kgs etc.
This reminds me of Machi from Phantom Troupe who could also nen threads. I wonder if she can use nen stitches to heal injuries etc. In almost 4 months the year 1997 is going to finish, i have decided to go to Heavens arena and get one more member to my group and give a name to the group.
My target is Kastro and i should be able to convince him to join my group. The journey to Republic of Padokea will take atleast a week and i will immediately start fighting once i reach heavens arena. I wonder if Hisoka is there and has he joined the Phantom Troupe. I wonder if he wants to fight me and i am excited to have a fight against him.
After packing and all preparation is completed i headed to the airport with Baise. I continue to wear mask and brought 2 tickets to Heavens arena. We had our own rooms in the aircrafts and i continue to meditate the basic of nen strengthening my aura. Baise also didn't waste any time and we also had our own small battle to get familiar with our own nen abilities.
One of the reasons to go to Heavens arena is to battle with other nen users and get familiar with nen battles. Its very crucial in getting familiar with your nen abilities in a fight as you might not know what could happen in fight to death.
After a week, the aircraft landed at the airport in heavens arena and we both took a taxi to the venue where the 5th tallest building of 251 floors where more than 4000 fighters fight either for money or fame or purely to satisfy their thirst to kill.
