บท 301: Chapter 301

Kason stared at his beautiful bride standing before him. Now, his wife as she accepted his ring and vowed to remain faithful and loyal to him. But, of course, she omitted the part about love and obedience, which he did not fail to notice.

He did not mind since he was not expecting it in an arranged marriage. But, of course, on his part, he said the whole shebang, especially his vow to love, cherish and obey the woman that he planned to be with for all eternity, till death do they part.

"You may kiss the bride." The Archbishop declared after concluding the ceremony.

He knew what the crowd expected from the kiss, but what about her? He wondered what was going through her mind since he could not read anything from her expression.

Her lips smiled for everyone to see, but her eyes seemed different as far as he noticed. He was sure that it was not fear nor anger but something else.
