Seeing her face plastered on the news surprised him. Of course, she remembered her. He would never forget that face, even if it had been years since he had last seen her.

He was glad that he was able to get rid of her. She and her daughter would have ruined his son's life. They would have destroyed everything he had worked hard to achieve.

But now, how could they be back in their lives? "What are you planning, Eida?" He uttered in a barely audible voice, not needing anyone to hear his thought. 

Count Thomas thought he had buried her in the past, and she would have stayed out of their lives for good. But he guessed he was mistaken as he looked at the headlines.

Nevertheless, he could not help but wonder how their sudden presence would affect their current situation. Would Eida and her daughter become a liability and a threat to the stability of the Kingdom, his family, and his son?
