"Roseanne, I never taught you how to talk back to elder people! Is this what Montgomery's adopted son did? Teach you how to fight the elders?"

"Don't bring Aslan into our debate. In the first place, you came to my room ruining my cheerful morning mood and telling me to wear clothes like this in public? Are you trying to make me look like a clown?" Rosie asked, then ran out of her room.

Yvonne widened her eyes. The maids who watched the queen and princess fight could only freeze in their places.

"What did he say? Clown? I did it because I care about her!" 

Rosie ran until her breath started to hitch. She didn't know what to do now. The breakfast hadn't started yet, and Rosie didn't want to go back to her room because she hated running into the queen so much.
