บท 91: He Melted With Her Touch

Did he know? She probed in her heart but did not dare to look back or ask.

"I was looking for you." he blinked as he scanned her face.

She was lying, he knew yet the frost thawed at her words.

"I.. when I woke up, I was in your room but you were not there, papa! So, I got scared. That is why I was searching for you everywhere.`` Once she saw the reaction on his face, her level of acting shot up.

Her face looked on the verge of crying and she raised her hands and shook his pants gently as if asking him to carry her.

She looked like a vulnerable little kid who was lost and scared.

"I only wanted to see if you are enjoying the night breeze but then I got lost and looked for stairs." she sobbed and then pouted as her big animated eyes started to turn misty.

"Papa, are you not going to carry me, I am scared of the dark."
