บท 414: Burning the Tree

Qin Chen and the old wyrm were overjoyed to learn how to enter the light screen.

They could not force out the Dao patterns of heaven and earth in their bodies anyway. Although these mysterious Dao patterns would devour the divine power or demonic power in their bodies, they would just let them be.

Then, the two absorbed the Dao patterns of the Great Path of heaven and earth into their bodies.

The Dao patterns of heaven and earth were endless, and soon, Qin Chen and the old wyrm's bodies were covered with Dao patterns.

Following this, they wanted to enter but realized that they were just a little bit short. Yet, the absorption of the last bit of Dao patterns was extremely slow.

It was as though there was a repulsive force when one absorbed too many Dao patterns.

That being said, to enter the light screen barrier and obtain the ancient tree of life's branches and leaves, they continued to absorb the energy in a frenzy.
