บท 87: Take Responsibility

Zoe placed the kitten on the ground and caressed its wet fur. "Sorry, buddy. I don't have anything to give you to eat. I'm a prisoner myself. When I go home, I will take you with me. Just don't give up. Alright?"

The cat meowed. It couldn't understand why this lady had tears in her eyes. Just a moment ago, she was talking with it with a smile and now she appeared as if she was about to cry. It rubbed its wet head against her legs and she let out a teary smile. 

When Zoe could no longer handle her emotions, she waved the kitten goodbye and walked back to the prison that was waiting for her, leaving the kitten sad and dejected behind her. 

From the far, someone was watching the whole scene with a heavy look. He walked ahead and looked at the dirty kitten and heaved out a sigh. Leaning down, he took it in his hold. 

The Kitten was scared seeing the cold man and shrank. Where were the kind and pretty lady?
