บท 56: Negotiate 2 (Zeryon)

He hold his breath waiting for the answer, as Madrox returned without the leader who was holding Emelle Lee.

"Did you talk to him? So, what's the decision?" Zeryon asked curiously.

"Just wait a second," Madrox advised.

"What exactly are you waiting for? Just tell me what Duca has told you." Zeryon stood up from the chair, as he unable to sit any longer.

Madrox grabbed Zeryon's shoulder and told him to stay calm. He then sat down in the chair.

Soon after, two guards arrived, accompanied by a slanted-eyed young woman dressed in wrinkled casual clothes.

Zeryon breathed a sigh of relief when he saw her.

"Are you all right, Emelle?" he asked as he approached her.

The young woman nodded and she was let go by the two guards.

"Yes, I'm fine," she answered briefly as she looked around.

Zeryon's gaze shifted from Emelle to Madrox, and he said, "I'll bring her home. Thank you so much, Madrox."

"No problem."
