Gohan's dome dissolved into fragmented glass, everything returned to normal.

"It's finally over," Gohan whispered, smiling before falling to the ground, spitting out blood, as the wound on his abdomen remained open.

"Little brother!" Goten ran extremely worried towards him and immediately everyone approached where he and Granola were.

"I'll help him" Monite crouched down to his height.

Monite began to heal him and after a few minutes, Gohan recovered and Goten hugged him.

"Don't worry little one, your brother won as always," Gohan said, stroking his head.

"You're great!" Goten exclaimed happily.

"How did you do it?" Bardock asked him.

"He had little time left to live, so I sped it up," Gohan replied, "But he wasn't a bad guy."

"He just had bad company," Raditz completed.

Raditz knew better than anyone what that was like, turning bad for others, and if it weren't for Gohan he would never have chosen the right path.

"What are we going to do with those bugs?" Vegeta pointed to the Heata brothers, who backed away in panic, as they were now helpless.

"I'll take them" Gohan spoke, standing up.

"Where to?" Bardock was somewhat curious.

"To work," Gohan replied, smiling, "And by the way, Granola, wait here for a while to solve your problem, I assure you it will be great."

"Yours?" Goku blinked at him.

"Gas and Granola became the most powerful beings in the universe through a wish"

"But the cost was years of life" said Gohan.

"Oh wow, now I understand why they came out of nowhere, that's cheating" Raditz crossed his arms.

"I know, but if I wanted to be on his level I had to do it." Granola looked down, "It was a mistake."

"Not so much, your help will be useful to us one day" Gohan mentioned thinking about a certain tournament.

"Besides, it would be great to train with you" Goku looked at Granola smiling, and he smiled the same.

Gohan smiled, and looked at his uncle Raditz.

'What the fuck, that's Super Saiyan 4' Gohan thought excitedly, "When did it happen?"

"This? Well, things in life." Raditz shrugged as if it were so normal.

"You have gone your own way, although if you want to use divine Ki you will always be welcome" Goku spoke and Raditz scoffed.

"I am not a god, I am a saiyan"

"I am the god of the Saiyans" Gohan answered and teleported towards the Heeter.

"P-please d-don't kill us" Maki trembled.

"Nah, I won't do that, would you like to work for me? Free house and food, good salary and one vacation a year" the emperor proposed to them.

"YEAH!" They both nodded very happy.

"Let's go then guys" Gohan teleported to the headquarters of his empire, "Iru, Kab, they're new, you know how to treat them"

"It's hazing!" Iru smiled gloomily.

"But before that, we will show you the facilities" Kab intervened, standing in front.

"That's what I was going to say!" Iru got angry.

Gohan smiled nervously as they began to argue, so he returned to Earth.

"Hey, where are the others?" Gohan asked the question when he saw that the majority left there.

"Vegeta has taken Granola and the old Namekian to his house, strangely," said Raditz.

"Well, I have to take care of something," Gohan indicated and Raditz analyzed his face. He looked serious.

"Trouble in paradise huh" he pointed out.

"If I don't fix it as soon as possible, it will turn into hell," Gohan replied, disappearing.

Goku didn't understand what they were talking about.

Cheelai was sitting on the grass with the child in her arms, until her scouter made a noise.

"Ah, it's you" Cheelai sighed relaxedly.

"Da...ddy" the boy murmured, smiling.

Gohan smiled and sat down next to the two of them. He took the child in his arms and looked into his eyes.

"You look a lot like me huh" Gohan spoke.

The boy laughed, except for his violet eyes he was identical to him, "I hope when you grow up you won't be like me."

"W-why?" Cheelai looked at him confused.

This boy had sacrificed his life for his planet, established peace in the universe, and helped millions of people, what was he saying?

"Cheelai, our thing should never have happened, you deserve someone who truly loves you and wants you"

"I will be there for you and our son at all times, but this cannot happen," Gohan pointed out and saw that Cheelai shed a tear.

Gohan felt like shit, first he had hurt Videl, then 18 and again he was rejecting Cheelai's feelings.

"I-I know, you made it clear to me that you don't feel anything for me. I was just a piece of meat."

"The best thing for both of us will be that my son and I disappear from your life, and forever."

"Well we don't mean anything to you, do we?" Cheelai wiped her tears and stood up from there.

"Don't say that" Gohan stood up in turn.

"The last time you went to see him was six months ago and you only stayed for an hour," Cheelai pointed out.

"I had to take care of..." Gohan was going to speak.

Cheelai's look made him not continue.

And there he understood it, he was his son, he should have been his priority at least before the events of Buu but she never was. He didn't pay attention to him.

"He doesn't deserve this" Cheelai looked at Gohan.

Cheelai then took the little boy from his father's arms, and he became a little tearful because of that. He wanted to be with his father Gohan.

"He adores you, he loves you, but do you love him?"

"Are you really worried about our son?"

Gohan felt much worse than before, he wanted to die from how disappointed he was in himself. He was a pretty lousy father!

And as a person he didn't improve things.

"Sorry..." was the only thing he could whisper.

Cheelai felt so much pain in a single word, maybe he had gone too far, but it was all true.

"We will return to the headquarters of the empire, there we will stay in the meantime" Cheelai walked towards her ship. She turned around, and Gohan was still crestfallen.

It was rare to see a person so happy and active like that, Cheelai knew that his words hit him squarely, but she still couldn't imagine what she had caused with his words.
