บท 28: Chapter 28: Goku returns!
Everyone was puzzled by Goku's presence. He had arrived at the moment where things were getting most catastrophic.
His son was as happy as ever, Piccolo was calmer, Krillin shed tears of joy and Tienshinhan smiled with joy.
"You finally arrived Goku!" Krillin started to jump happily and Goku turned towards them noticing that his friends were there except Yamcha.
"Friends... Piccolo, what happened here?" Goku asked confused, "I knew you were fighting the Saiyans... but I don't understand this"
There were four giant monkeys, he didn't understand anything. But at least his friends were okay, and that was the most important thing really.
'One of those two over there must be Raditz' Goku thought looking towards the direction where the battle between Nappa and Raditz was taking place.
"There's no time to explain it to you… this big armored ape is our enemy, and that other one is Gohan" Piccolo replied indicating.
Goku looked up and was slightly stunned looking at the Ozaru, was that really Gohan? It couldn't be true, but if Piccolo was saying it then he had to be for something.
'That monster is the one that killed my grandfather, but if he is Gohan, then the one who killed him is...' Goku thought clenching his fists, 'I killed my grandfather'
He felt confused, and Gohan seemed to have sensed it. He understood how confused his father felt, although he had several doubts in his mind.
"Dad it's me, then I'll explain everything to you" Gohan spoke regretting not being able to hug his father right now, "Do you have Senzu beans?"
Goku came out of his stupor, he had more than a thousand questions to ask his son but it wasn't the right time, he had to wait.
"I'm sorry, I ate all of them in the snake's way and training" Goku replied, "And Master Korin didn't have any either when I came back"
Gohan smiled bitterly upon hearing him, and focused his eyes on the figure of Vegeta, who was looking at them with a disdainful smile.
"So, you finally came Kakarrot, it seems that you also want to be buried next to your son and that Namekian" Vegeta spoke confidently.
Goku scrutinized him, despite his enormous size he had great power. He didn't know if he would be able to defeat him even with the increased Kaiō-ken.
"I warn you it won't be that easy" Goku said getting into a fighting pose as he smiled, for some reason he felt very excited.
"Dad, all three of us have to fight together" Gohan pointed out looking at him, "You'll have to use your maximum power so we can defeat this saiyan!"
"I see where your son got that stupidity from!" Vegeta declared running towards the group. Piccolo and Gohan were put on guard seeing that.
"You'll have to defeat me first" Gohan blocked the prince's charge and Piccolo took advantage of this to punch him in the face.
Vegeta was thrown to the side by the unforeseen attack, but quickly recovered as Piccolo didn't deal much damage.
"Kaiō-ken times two!" Goku exclaimed expelling the Ki from him and a strong red aura enveloped him as he flew towards the prince of the saiyan.
But the Saiyan's reaction speed was amazing, so he stepped forward and dealt the older Son a good blow using his big tail.
Slash!
Goku didn't have time to dodge it so he took it in full, but before crashing into some giant rocks he managed to recover in time.
"Ugh... even with the double Kaiō-ken I couldn't hit him" Goku muttered looking at the ape, "I think Gohan was right, he's powerful"
'Goku's power grew tremendously with that technique, it has to be something he learned from that Kaiō' Piccolo inquired a little surprised.
Krillin and Tenshinhan were amazed. But seeing the battle, they were hopeful that the three of them could defeat that annoying Saiyan.
Vegeta turned around and began to walk slowly. Despite his seeming superiority, he was slowly beginning to tire.
"What a disappointment Kakarot, is that all your power?" Vegeta asked him smirking, "I'll show you what it's like to be a high-class Saiyan!"
Vegeta rose to the sky before the eyes of those present and suddenly an electric violet aura began to surround him. Gohan was stunned.
"He plans to destroy Earth!" exclaimed the boy remembering that in the original series Vegeta did the same thing. However, now he was an Ozaru!
"WHAT?!" Goku and the others exclaimed in disbelief of what they had heard, but they could feel the inordinate power that Vegeta was gathering.
Raditz stopped the beating he was giving Nappa and looking up he was speechless as he felt the enormous power that Vegeta was emanating.
"I will destroy this damn planet and all its inhabitants!" Vegeta yelled having formed a Ki attack, "Can you stop it?! Hahaha!"
Goku clenched his fists and activated the Kaiō-ken again, but this time increased four times, he had to prevent the Earth from being destroyed!
"I wont allow it!" declared Goku getting into an iconic attack pose. Gohan smirked seeing what his father was planning, "Kame... Hameee..."
"I will too! Kame... Hame..." Gohan began to gather energy from him, despite how exhausted he felt from the Ozaru's transformation.
He was holding back all of his inner anger so he wouldn't lose control. But even so, he would not give up. If he didn't help his father, they would end up dying!
Piccolo, despite being so injured and with almost zero Ki reserves, mustered all of his energy to attack as well. He wouldn't just stand there.
The surrounding earth began to crack at the enormous power that the mighty warriors displayed.
"Die! GARLICK GUN!" Vegeta launched his attack in the direction of Earth with the intention of destroying it. Gohan and others would stop him.
"HAAA!" Goku, Gohan and Piccolo launched their attacks at the same time and collided with the powerful Garlick Gun fired by the saiyan.
When the attacks collided with each other the whole place, no, the whole planet shook from the shock wave that had been caused at the time.
Krillin firmly secured himself to a rock and Tenshinhan did the same but with a tree while Chaoz was holding on to his back.
"It's too much power!" Krillin exclaimed, never before in his life had he witnessed something as monstrous and brutal as this battle.

LordPhenex026 Well, in the next chapter this ends. Then I will take the opportunity to fill in some plot gaps such as the Raditz issue, why Goku took so long and once that is finished we will move on to Namek. Also, I'll put the power levels in an auxiliary volume, or at the end of chapter 30.
