บท 53: Envied by all

Countless men and women had gathered outside the main gates of the palace, demanding to see Queen Norma and Prince Draveric but who came out to attend them were none of those but supposedly their new King.

"Your majesty, it could be dangerous for you to go out because they seem agitated." The new king's personal guard, who was chosen by the new King Berkin himself, suggested to him as they stood inside the gates which were still closed. "Let us handle them."

"No, they should see that the era of King Bastian is over and now I am their new ruler. We needed to talk to the public anyway so why not now?" He subtly raised his both eyebrows at the guard before addressing the guardians of the main gates. 

"Open the gates!" He commanded in an authoritative tone.
