The silence was deafening that she reckoned anyone could hear the pounding of her heart. Every nerve of her body tightened as she grew closer, both wanting to pull time and stop time.

These were the only emotions that swirled around Sue Terin.

The moment the gigantic flapping wings of Nyx blew away the mist, unveiling the tragedy she caused, Sue Terin lost all her strength as she released a staggering breath. With an ashen face and tear-filled eyes, she unmounted her phoenix with trembling knees.

"No," she whispered, but for Sue Terin, she was already screaming inside. Shaking her head, tears continued to fall from her eyes.
