"Geoffrey…" Serena gasped as he kissed her inner thigh. "Stop… please, stop…" she finally uttered with tears in her eyes.

Geoffrey who heard her clearly paused and clenched his jaw. He did not say anything but as he rose to lay beside her, he turned away. He felt hurt and at the same time annoyed.

Serena bit her lower lip seeing Geoffrey's reaction. She felt guilty in her heart as she watched his back. Not being able to help herself, she embraced him. "I'm sorry…" she whispered, her voice trembling as tears inadvertently blurred her vision.

Geoffrey closed his eyes then swallowed. In the end, he couldn't withstand her tears. He turned around to embrace her back. "Don't cry, Serena. It's not your fault."
