Upon Zheng Liang and Yang Ning's return to the Dragon Pavilion, before they could reach their chambers, the Senior Court Lady informed them that His Majesty had summoned them to the Main Palace for an evening tea.

Yang Ning glanced at Zheng Liang in confusion, puzzled by the sudden invitation from His Majesty for an evening tea. "Do you think I did something wrong? Impossible! Could he have discovered my venture to the training grounds disguised as a man?" she asked, a hint of worry in her voice.

"Last time, when His Majesty invited me for tea, he entrusted me with the responsibility of managing palace affairs. Do you think this time he's summoned me to reprimand me for mishandling those duties and intends to revoke them?" Yang Ning asked anxiously, her hands growing cold with nervousness.
