Amidst the somber gathering bidding farewell to Yang Lingxin, hushed whispers permeated the air, as if the spectators were not so much bidding farewell as they were eagerly observing her expulsion from the palace, destined to be exiled to the desolate cold palace where she would meet her solitary and desolate end.
