Phoenix looked at her phone and saw that Mia was calling her. She picked up Mia's call.

"Hello. Ms Mia."

"Just call me Mia!" Mia huffed in annoyance.

"Okay." 

"Phoenix, I'm sorry I can't pick you up for the celebration party tonight."

"It's okay. I can go by myself."

"It will be at 8 o'clock at BlacknBeige Restaurant. You don't have to be punctual, it's fine if you're late. I'm so sorry again for not being able to pick you up.."

"It's fine. Don't worry about it."

"Okay. I've to go. See you tonight. Bye."

"Bye."

Phoenix put aside her phone and continued with her work. Since Mia couldn't pick her up tonight, she thought of staying at the office to settle some work, until it was time to go to the party.
