Her movement halted.

Yang Ran stared at the thing that had just fallen out of the small compartment for a long time, wondering what it was.

From the sound of how it fell, Yang Ran could guess that it should be something heavy and hard. Yang Ran took a closer look and realized that the thing was actually wrapped with a cloth.

After a brief hesitation, she finally stretched her hand to touch that thing.

Yang Ran pulled off the cloth and the content was finally revealed.

There was a folded paper as well as a thin bar of gold.

Her eyes widened and Yang Ran continued to stare at this thing speechlessly. She touched the bar of gold and found that it was real. Judging from the weight, it should be around one kilogram.

Her heartbeat accelerated.

Yang Ran had never expected that she would find gold within this compartment.

Who would dare to leave gold in an abandoned place like this?
