บท 187: To Forgive that Mother

By the time Robert came back to his troubled son's house, his psychiatrist was outside waiting for him. He  killed the engine of his car and got out running to her. He shook her hand while he gasped for air.

"Thank you so much for coming here…and with such short notice…"

One of Robert's men interrupted Beth's session with another patient, she would have taken a very different course of action had the situation been any different. 

"…Let me summarize our phone call from earlier, Henry tried to commit suicide, but he was stopped by his ex wife as there was nobody inside but the two of them, then she managed to get him to sleep and called you right after. And once you came to this house, he gave you the gun… Are there any more weapons around him?"

While Robert couldn't deny the way she was organizing the events using her own words, something didn't feel right about it.

"…I don't think he's suicidal,"
