The so-called class opening announcement was a brief introduction of the teaching goals, policies, and methods of the mecha training course by the class teacher.

The mecha training course usually had one class teacher and two class assistant teachers responsible for the overall teaching. The teachers of the other courses were public courses and were not considered full-time teachers of the mecha training course.

After the class leader announced his goal, the class assistant teacher also went on stage to announce how he would implement the teaching task he was responsible for.

After the three teachers finished their announcements, the students also went on stage to announce their situation and determination.

The overall atmosphere of the announcement was similar to the swearing-in rally on Saturn.
