The ride back to the Saint's estate was one Chantria could only describe as awkward, amongst many other things.

A carriage had been prepared for them, along with an unfamiliar carriage driver, a middle aged man clad in gray robes.

 From where the carriage was procured, Chantria had no idea since neither she nor Dewei had come out with one,

 Chantria guessed there were always options for the rich and influential and they did not have to sort out everything themselves as there would be others to handle menial troubles.

 Chantria got into the carriage with no arguments and both Irvine and Zevon got into the carriage after her.

 Now, all three were seated in the cramped carriage as it drove down the streets of the Kalavan Deep.

Not a single word had been said since they entered the carriage and Chantria was not certain if she was expected to break the silence.
