[Can you hear me?]

Harriet stood up from her seat immediately. Inside that church, her sudden movement surprised Yang Fulgens.

'What, what?! Is this woman just read another mind?!'

"I can hear you! Yes, Milord!" Harriet said excitedly.

Yang shuddered as he kneeled on the floor. He was right! She could read minds!

"The wyverns had arrived? Thank god you're not late..." Harriet breathed a sigh of relief.

From Yang's perspective, this beautiful woman was speaking to the air. But he knew that she was actually communicating with the previous long blonde-haired man.

But then, he was also flabbergasted when he heard that the man was able to travel to Almandine City that fast. So was he not only a monster?

"Yes, Milord," she nodded. "I'll speak to you later..."

And then, after she stopped speaking, she turned to Yang once again. Yang got pale once again.

"It's funny," she said. "You don't intend to attack me at all? We're both alone here."
