What would be the best trait a main character of a novel has?

Their wit? Their personality?

No.

Or their skills and hard work?

No!

What about overcoming their trauma? Their background story and motivation? Their character development?

No, no! That was not the best!

The main characters of a novel NEED none of those. The foremost thing they needed was...

Luck.

Plot armor!

Cecilia KNEW that was the point of being the main character. Someone who had strong plot armor and tremendous luck on their side.

But why did she think that way?

The reason was simple. It was because that was how it should be.

Cecilia thought that her life in her original world was very unlucky. She died young in both lives, even though she should be the luckiest girl on earth.

It should be given that this world was her heaven. The world where she could do anything she wanted with the gift of luck she had.

It should be scandalous. It should be adventurous!
