บท 77: Breakfast

Luca helped out throughout the night, nodding off from time to time. Unlike the first night, there were many more, who were helping the bereaved families and consoling them. Hence, it wasn't that hard for Luca to rest from time to time. 

Jacques was still a little distraught, barely talking. She would cry every now and then, especially when she would stare at Frank's portrait. One could say Frank was a good man; the number of people who came and those he helped only had good words to say about him. 

"Sometimes I wonder if proving you are a good person in your funeral is what the person's goal is."

"Yes?" Maddison glanced at the rear mirror to where Luca was sitting. They were on their way to Luca's villa after a long night.

"Nothing, Baddie." Luca glanced at the driver's seat, shaking her head mildly. "It's nothing."
