"I'm really sorry if I worried you," Luca expressed with a subtle smile, sitting across from Georgina and Xander as they headed to the buffet for dinner. 

"Gosh. How can you just disappear like that?" Georgina let out a shallow breath. "I asked the receptionist, and they said they hadn't seen you. I nearly called the police and report a missing person. Fortunately, Xan contacted your manager first."

"Fortunately, you left a message to Jacques," Nova commented, having her dinner on the seat beside Luca. 

'I know, right?' Luca watched her composure as she smacked her lips. "I'm really sorry about that, and I really appreciate you checking in on me."

"That's nothing." Georgina waved dismissively while chuckling. "We're friends, are we not? As friends, of course, we look after each other."
