'I have witnessed her training on multiple occasions,' Judith remarked, her voice tinged with admiration. 'She possesses remarkable strength and resilience. I am certain she will emerge unscathed.' Mark nodded in agreement, and a heavy silence enveloped them, thick with anticipation and concern.

Suddenly, a desperate voice pierced the darkness, shattering the quietude. 'Judith! Judith! Where in the world am I? Why is it so damn pitch black?' Serena's frantic cries echoed through the air, beckoning Judith to action.

Her heart pounded with anxiousness as she rushed toward the edge of the forbidding pit, where Serena's desperate pleas seemed to originate.

In a hasty search, Judith's eyes fell upon the rope Mark had left behind, abandoned on the cold ground.

With urgency, she seized the rope and flung it down into the pit. 'Hold on tightly to the rope, Serena!' Judith's voice carried both determination and concern, her words a lifeline thrown to a lost soul.
