บท 5: Chapter 5: Registered
"Hello? How may I help you two?" the receptionist asked Koujou and Rose sweetly, smiling at the small girl next to the taller man.
"Actually, yes, I would like to get my friend here registered to the guild so she can start doing missions." Koujou explained to the receptionist, the receptionist smiling and handing them paperwork to fill out and leading them to a back room.
"I can check your stats back here with a magic orb after you're done signing the papers, which you can just drop some blood on and it'll be fine for us." the receptionist explained. Rose listened intently, and took her scythe out, the receptionist paling in fright.
Rose pricked her finger as it started bleeding and immediately closed up.
"Oh, that's neat, guess I have to sign it." Rose casually said throwing her scythe behind her, kt disappearing as it hit the wall, going back to its dimension, both Koujou and the receptionist shocked at how casual she was about it.
"Koujou, do you have a pen?" Rose asked, Koujou awakening from his shocked stupor handing her a pen, of all things, Rose was surprised that they had pens. Rose looked down at the papers and then noticed something.
"DAMN IT I CAN'T READ ANY OF THIS" Rose had shouted out suddenly startling the receptionist and Koujou again, Koujou laughing before taking the pen and documents from her, signing them.
"There you go, all done." he said after a few minutes, Rose feeling embarrassed that he had to do her paperwork for her.
"Now that is done, put your hands on the orb and try pushing your mana through it, it should display your stat screen through the orb since the only people able to see your stat screen are yourself and the gods unless you have an orb like this" the woman explained while demonstrating by holding her hands on the orb, a small screen appeared in front of them before quickly disappearing when she pulled her hands away.
Rose nodded and put her hands on the orb and closed her eyes, focusing on pushing an energy she had never felt before out of her body and into the orb. After a while she felt something warm go through her arms to her fingertips, pushing itself into the orb, showing a stat screen that the receptionist started recording, with an extra stat, her age.

The receptionist was speechless when she saw her age and even more shocked when she saw that her race was labelled as an origin vampire. The receptionist immediately got up and bowed to show her respect, thinking that rose was a princess daughter of an extremely old vampire lord. Rose looked at the woman, surprised more than anything.
"P-please raise your head miss" Rose requested, the woman raising her head slowly, not to offend anyone, Koujou confused but understanding after remembering Rose introducing herself as Rose Tepes.
Laughing a bit, Koujou stated "I think you have the wrong idea miss, she's not related to Dracula, at least I don't think she is." Koujou stated, the receptionist immediately relaxing, writing down the rest of Rose's stats and putting them away in a desk, maybe for the guild master to see.
Little did they know, she essentially was Dracula, after all, she possessed all of the powers that he does as well as his blood.
"Here, this is your tag, you'll be starting a bit higher than a normal hunter would, mostly because of your stats you should be able to handle higher." she had said to Rose, handing her a silver tag.
"If you want you can start immediately since we have a simple monitoring mission readily available for someone at your level, the world Is the anime world of Hellsing Ultimate, while you're inside the world time Is flowing differently, a year there will be an hour here in the hub world so you can theoretically stay in a world for over 100 years and only a week will be passing here' the receptionist casually said, Rose shocked at how different the time was.
"I'll go immediately, how long will I be in there?" Rose asked.
"You will stay for however long you need, if you're out for more than a week in the hub world, you will automatically be exempt from fulfilling the quota of the week you're absent from unless you return into that week" the receptionist further explained to Rose.
"If that's it, I believe I will get going then, what am I supposed to do there?" Rose asked.
"Anything you want really, but keep an eye out for any abnormalities inside of the world such as space rifts, demons invading from the sky, anything not normal for this world, in which is admittedly full of irregularities by itself. Your mission is to destroy any of these rifts." she told her.
Rose nodded, secretly hoping that she can get away with as much as a peaceful vacation she could have during her mission time there. They got up and left the room, immediately going to the summoning gates.
The summoning gates were huge, easily 15 stories tall and 3 stories wide, made of large standing pillars that all have their own door in the centre of them, the doors decorated to be related to their worlds. They quickly found the Hellsing door, which was decorated with a Jekyll and Hyde duo mounted on the front of the door.
"I'll see you when you get back, since this is a solo mission and all" Koujou had told Rose, in which she nodded and opened the door, waving behind her as she went through the portal that the door had spawned after she opened it, everything went black, before she ended up in a dark street in front of a house.
She looked around, the street black from there being no light, but for a vampire it was nothing, she could see down the street with clarity. Then that's when she smelled it. Blood. Why was she already smelling blood though? She just got here. She noticed a door open to one of the houses.
She walked towards it, somewhat cautiously, and as she did the smell got stronger.
"Bingo." she said to herself, casually walking in through the front door, listening for anything. The sound of a male talking to someone else entered her ears. She followed the sound of talking before she found them, she was concealed in the shadows naturally as the only thing that could be seen if they were paying attention to her, were the eerie slitted red eyes.
"Damn this bitch, she about fucking stabbed me, so I shot her. at least her body should still be warm." the man lecherously laughed as he positioned himself with the body in his hands, about to do something vile as his partner looted the house. That was before he felt a long blade against his neck.
"Good afternoon gentlemen, I want to ask if you've accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour?" Rose mockingly asked, the guy's partner turning around and immediately shot her through the stomach. Too bad that as soon as she was shot, the bullet wound closed up with a dark shadow, Rose twisting the scythe as she kicked the guy into the blade, instantly decapitating him as she turned to the other criminal, blood spurting from the base of the first one's neck.
He was terrified, she reveled in this, she had a huge grin seeing how scared he was. She had acted nice in the hub world, but the violent instincts she had felt boiled over after seeing what the guy was about to do. So she decided to play with them. She disappeared in front of the man, appearing from a shadow silently behind him, she kicked him into the wall, her strength making an indent into it.
Coughing up blood violently as he felt most of the bones in his chest and back instantly shatter with the force of the kick, puncturing his lungs as he slowly bled from the inside. She picked him up from the hair disappointedly.
"Done already? you're pathetic." she said to him in a disappointed tone, deciding to end it all and bite into his neck, until she heard a movement in the closet next to the first two bodies. She dropped the still alive man and walking over to the closet covered in blood in the first hour of being there.
She reached out to the closet door, hearing panicked breathing before she ripped the door open, revealing a small child with blonde hair and blue eyes, looking at her terrified, unable to move out of fear.
The vampire's hands instinctively moved to the girl's face, cupping the scared girl's face as she looked at her with a smile.
"it's okay, what's your name little one?" Rose gently asked.
"M-My name is Seras!" the child mumbled, before Rose's smile grew wider, understanding who this was now to the story of this world. She locked eyes with the child, speaking to her.
"Listen, Seras, you are to forget me. Your mother was killed after two thieves broke in, they raped her dead body as you watched silently, scared, and passed out in fear." Rose commanded Seras. In a moment, Seras' memories were replaced with a whole set of fake ones, ones that would have been true if not for her.
Seras fainted after being hypnotized by the vampire, the vampire laying the child down slowly. Rose got up and cleaned the bloody mess she made and took care of the burglar's bodies after drinking what was left in the man that she let bleed out. She quickly left the house after calling the police so they would find the little girl in the closet.
