Six months had passed since the machine attack, but it seemed just like yesterday. The Prime's troops had devastated the human settlements, laying waste to their cities in the blink of an eye. Since the military installations were the first to be targeted, the Technorians had no way to mount an effective counter-offensive. Yet still, they fought tooth and nail till their last hopes were snuffed out.

Shane's Resistance fighters were brave and resilient soldiers who were ready to shed their last drop of blood to fight back their oppressors. However, bravado alone would never have been enough to fight the machines.

In their hour of need, Kevin had arrived as an unlikely hero. Though they initially had their doubts about fighting alongside a cyborg, he had proved his allegiance countless times.
