Jacob mused as he watched his lifemate, Zande, interact with her twin on the table. Even though he was happy for her, and was still getting over the fact that he was sitting at a round table with real ancients, he was still unhappy that she was flocking around with another guy.

His eyes found the guy's lifemate, a doctor like Kendalf. She was experienced in healing. She could care less about what was happening. But he attributed it to the fact that she was female, already lighted, and that she wasn't fully ancient when she had met Zendedari.

He has also spoken, and gotten acquainted with the others, including Zande's elder brother, prince of the people and his life mate.

Very interesting people. He must say. Currently, they were trading the information that they have gathered. And all they could point out was a dark domination of something brewing with the vampires. They were yet to discover any other supernaturals attached to that.
