บท 225: Captured

Zande looked upon the tortured look on Jacob's face and felt frustrated, wishing she could somehow find out who Olivera was immediately, and clear him off this torment that was besetting him. She also got curious about who Olivera was. A past lover? 

The thought of that had her heart shrinking before she could know it, falling deep into the welcoming trap of jealousy. But Jacob had said they were forever. She thought remembering the ritual he had recited when he had taken her blood for the first time. So, she shouldn't have anything to fret about, right? She hoped, knowing that she will be more than devastated if Jacob should ever choose some girl over her.
