"What do you mean by that? You clearly said it in the presence of everyone back then that you killed him." Phidius queried king Reni.

"I know, but I wasn't the one who killed him. I admitted to it because he asked me to."

"Are you out of your damn mind Reni? You admitted to a crime that you did not commit. For what reason?"

"Calm down, I am about to tell you the reason."

Phidius sat up. "I am listening, start talking."

"one of the guards came to report to me that he was hearing the noise of a scuffle in one of the sacred grounds. I got there to see the Vampire King already dead. I used the soul seeking spell to awaken his soul. He told me that he had been killed by his queen".

Phidius was shocked. "you mean to tell me that the queen killed him. How did she get so powerful?"
