The wind was howling in my ears. I tried to ignore the terrible sound of the chase as the horse galloped through the dark woods. I held Ruby's tiny body in my arms. I gripped the reins and urged the horse to go faster.
Finally, a dot of light appeared before me, and as the horse drew closer, the dot grew larger. I felt hope was right before me, so I immediately squeezed the horse's abdomen and rushed toward the light.
"Stop!" A loud warning sound came from the camp. Suddenly, dozens of guards came from all directions. They all had weapons in their hands to stop the horse from moving forward. However, the horse was already out of control. It crashed into the camp, unable to stop.
In the chaos, one of the guards stabbed the horse in the side and frightened it. I held the reins and tried to control the horse, but the frenzied horse was out of control. It kicked over a boiling pot on the iron rack, making the guards curse.
