บท 212: Spoiled Silly

Ava woke up in the morning and Mason's side of the bed was empty. Wondering where he was, she stretched on the bed yawning.

Where was her husband? She got off the bed, threw on a robe and checked in the bathroom for Mason, when she didn't see him there, she went downstairs.

Mason was in the kitchen standing over the stove shirtless, stirring something in a pan.

"What are you doing?" she asked as she leaned against the door frame with her arms folded across her chest.

Mason turned around. "You are up," he said, a warm smile spreading across his face. He turned to reduce the heat on what he was cooking and then walked up to where she was.

Ava was smiling for no reason. It was difficult not to smile when you are happy and with the one you love.

Mason placed his finger under her chin and tilted her head up. Slowly, he lowered his head to hers and sealed her lips in a slow and teasing kiss.
