บท 206: Dinner

Brad and Herieta turned to look at their daughter. They looked mortified.

"Valerie, could you stop talking and just eat your food?" Her mother reprimanded her.

"I'm sorry but I was just trying to confirm to Hilary here what I had earlier told him. He didn't believe it when I told him Mason looks like he truly loves his wife when I showed him one of their pictures on Google."

Hilary kicked Valerie's legs under the table for her to stop talking but instead, she shot him a look and said,

"What? Weren't you the one who said he looks like he beats his wife?"

"Valerie!!" Both Brad and Herieta shouted at their teenage daughter who was bent on ruining dinner.

"If you don't behave yourself and keep quiet throughout the rest of this meal, I would be forced to send you to your room and you will be grounded!" Herieta gritted out.
