บท 171: Give Her The Money

Deb walked into her husband's room looking disturbed. She threw her purse on the bed and started pacing the room.

"What is the problem?" Jack who was lying on the bed asked.

"How did your meeting with Edith go?"

"She knows," Deb said as she continued to pace the room. "She fucking knows." She balled her hands into fists.

"She knows what? Who are you talking about?" Jack asked not understanding what she was talking about.

"Edith! She knows about what we did."

"What we did do? What are you talking about?"

"Edith knows what we did to Helen."

Jack immediately sat up on the bed. "What? What exactly does she know? How much does she know?"

"She claims to have seen us having sex in your study while Helen was still alive and then she said she saw me that night when I helped Helen sleep."

"She did? How?" Jack's eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

"Did she really see you? Or is she bluffing?"
