บท 146: HAPPY NEWS

After Hazel had bathed, gotten cleaned, dressed and fed, Micah took her on a drive. There were only two cars that followed them.

"Where are we going?" Hazel asked. She looked around her and then at the road that they took while Micah drove silently.

They didn't bring Jaxon or Archer with them, which meant it was not something related to business or anything involving the vampires, right?

Remembering that, Hazel turned her body around and faced Micah.

"What happened during your meeting last night with the vampires?" Hazel asked, curiosity got the better of her. It was very clear to see the same in her eyes. She wanted to know how it went and expected a lengthy story, but all she got was a short sentence in response.

"It went well," Micah replied lightly, knowing how he got Jason under his thumb right now and all he needed was to bait Xavier out of his hiding place.

"And then?" Hazel asked, frowning at him.
