บท 33: A layered person

Taking off the shades from her eyes, Elvina straightened up before looking around, ''Here, pack this,'' she called for an assistant. 

As Elvina received the fishes from the cash counter, a black card came into her view. 

The shop owner, having already been familiar with Archer was not as shocked as some of the female employees whom Elvina had found drooling over him. 

Just as the owner was about to receive the card from his hand, Elvina snatched it.

Archer looked at her questioningly. 

''Even if I have to pay in installments, I will do it,'' she said self-righteously, handing him the plastic container which had two koi fishes inside it, ''You accused my baby of eating your fishes. I have self-respect too,'' she dramatically wiped her non-existent tears before placing his card back in his pocket. 

''You...'' Archer opened his mouth after a moment of speechlessness. 

''Shush,'' Elvina shook her head.
