"That's none of your business," she spat. "Now let me go!"
Jacob looked at her and took a deep, deep, breath, and she got out of his grasp while he was distracted.
Jacob froze in place, gritting his teeth a bit, his eyes following her as she rushed to take her bag, no doubt in an attempt to leave him.
But how could Jacob allow this? If he let her go now, he knew he'd never be able to have a chance with her again! Not unless she broke up with whoever she was dating!
At this, he went in front of her, taking full advantage of their physical advantages to block her way.
"Fine, at least cool down. Or else your body will hurt tomorrow."
"No, it should be f—" she gasped when his strong hands found her arm, gently nudging her to the corner.
"Let me help you," Jacob said, taking out a rolled mat. "Come here."
"Do you want to be able to move tomorrow or not?"
"I don't mind. It's better than—"
