บท 181: Healing

Kylo and the rest arrived shortly after dusk. 

While the mission was technically a success—with the new equipment, weapons, and resources—the atmosphere was incredibly dour.

Without any more delay, the men went straight to the hospital, praying for good news.

It was just that, they hadn't even been able to enter the medbay and they saw General Lee there, exiting with Cauis and Hugo.

They frowned, immediately walking to them to get some news.

The general saw their pale faces. Even Kylo, known for his apathetic face, was visibly shaken at this time.

The general sighed, patting Kylo's shoulder. "Visitation time is over. Let the girl rest."

"But—"

"She'll be fine. The doctor says she healed well." 

They then turned to the other men for confirmation. It wasn't that they thought the general was lying, but there was a stark difference in perspectives if one's lover was the one in danger.
