As quickly as her legs could carry her, Zhang Liling went straight to find Tungmei, not minding the eyes that were on her as she walked past the offices

Ignorant of what they thought of her, Zhang Liling ventured into her best friend's workplace.

Standing at the entrance, her gaze swept last the work desks and the people each occupying one, in search of a familiar someone.

Her brows furrowed slightly when she didn't see her friend at first glance.

'Where is she?' She thought as she met the gazes of the weird glances from others.

Tungmei was deeply buried in her work and therefore, she was ignorant of Liling's intrusion.
