บท 184: Asking her out

On stepping into his bedroom, she peeped, and seeing no one in sight, she closed the door behind her, earning a slight 'thud' before proceeding to walk in proper.

In light steady steps, she walked up to his nightstand to place the bottle of water. 

Just as she turned around, she heard the faint sound of flip-flops brushing against the floor.

Zhang Liling paused in her steps and waited for Mr. Fang to appear with an expectant gaze toward the door that led to the bathroom and walk-in closet.

A moment later, Mr. Fang walked in with a towel spread on his wet dark brown hair. As soon as he stepped into the room, his gaze landed on her.

He was still in his ash bathrobe, but it was obvious that he was already half dressed from the pajamas pants that covered the skin on his legs.

With his hands free, he placed his hands back on the towel on his hair and continued to dry it as his steps approached her.
